Nettleton School District has an opening for a migrant tutor for the 2024-25 school year.  The main responsibility of the migrant tutor is to provide supplemental instructional activities to K-12 students in the district who are enrolled in the Arkansas Migrant Education Program.   Other duties will include recruiting and identifying all potentially eligible migrant children through home language surveys, making home visits as needed to enroll new families, recording and communicating critical data to the Arkansas Migrant Education Program as required by the federal guidelines, planning and conducting two parent meetings, one in the fall and one in the spring, arranging transportation for all 10-12 grade migrant students to the annual MSAC (Migrant Student Advisory Council), and performing other such duties that may be needed, required, or assigned.
